  Perfect location, you can go everywhere easily, lots of restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, banks and pharmacies close-by. The beach is 3 blocks away and so is the lagoon. You can rent a bike in the hostel. Great staff. Nice breakfast. Amazing people from all around the world. My flight was in the evening but I had no issue in hanging out in the hostel till the departure time, leaving my luggage in the storage

  Super beliggenhet, hjelpsomt personale, enkel, men god frokost. God valuta for pengene! - We loved the staff at the Ipanema Inn. Everyone there spoke English and were extremely helpful in finding excursions, transportation, food etc.. We had a large group of 6 (2 seniors and 2 children under 9) which made for some difficult logistics when trav... hva folk sier » eling and the staff here made everything easy. Breakfast buffet was amazing and you can walk to the beach. Hotel provides umbrella and towels to chill on the beach for free. This is a great place to stay and will do it again. - Hotel staff very attentative and helpful. Probably the best value for money in the area. Breakfast simple but sufficient. Same as the rooms. Although I stayed in a room with street view, there is no noise. Definitely a good option for those who want good location and good service without being ripped off. - The hotel has been refurbished, is clean, comfortable and the staff and breakfast are great. It is close to shopping, restaurants and close to the beach. Most of the staff speak English. We had a spacious family suite with a terrace and beach view. Also, the a/c unit was quiet and the shower was good too.

  We stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful time. The hotel looks old but our room was nice and clean. You should know that most of the hotels in Rio are old .the staff were friendly and helpful. But the best part is the location , it's in one of the best part of rio which leblon shops and restaurant are in walking distance. Overall we had a great stay with n - The hotel front desk & concierge taff were excellent, very friendly, and provided excellent information/touring suggestions. Additionally there was always someone on duty who spoke very good English! Location on Impenama Beach was perfect although it has less "nightlife" than the popular Cococabana Beach. Impanema Beach is a much prettier beach & we were never concerned about safety.

  Our stay at the Ipanema Plaza was excellent. When we arrived tired (without luggage, lost by the airline) we were offered a room already at 0600 although we hadn't expected to check-in until 1400. Staff at reception was efficient and spoke good english, cleaning was very good and the breakfast was delicious.
