  Everything in the hotel was superb. Of course it is a bit expensive, but you are really treated like you "own the place". The staff is just perfect. The hotel is basically a beautiful old house, with a brazilian decoration of its finest taste, and a breathtaking view of the city. Rooms are clean and classy. Just remarkable.   - Rooms were quite basic but clean and well cared. - The rooftop and pool didn't look so great on the hotel's pictures but they actually are super nice!!! The view from the rooftop is beautiful (view on the beach and Corcovado's Statue) and the pool is just perfect when the temperatures are high. - Breakfast buffet was good overall (not excellent... hva folk sier » but good for the value) - Free wi-fi - Helpful staff at the front desk speaking english - The location was really convenient (1 min walking from the - We couldn't fault our stay here. The rooms were lovely and they even upgraded us from a standard to a superior suite. The roof top pool was a little oasis in the middle of rio and had fantastic views over the ocean. Staff and breakfast were great. The location was perfect for anyone wishing to stay at copacobana- right behind the copacobana palace (nicest hotel in rio) but for 1/2 the price. Highly recommend.
