  Much of the hotel has been remodeled and present website photo's do not do the rooms justice.Very clean, staff very helpful, stayed on canal side - a real jewel of a view, complimentary breakfast fresh and varied, 3 restaurants accross the street w/canal view.   Very helpful, very friendly the room was large and clean the location was excellent for walking/shopping/exploring further afield and only a short drive to the port of Dunkirk. The architecture is fabulous and is a privilege to see and stay in this beautiful building.   We needed to leave early, so the woman (owner?) made breakfast an hour earlier than the usual time for us. It was all very nice - comfortable and lovely. - Very good location,very clean room and spacious.the staff is veryfriendly and helpful,the food is good.It is much valued for the money.
