The proximity to the airport is of course excellent.The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly.I would prefer it if the hotel had a few ice dispensers around. - Not bad for a quick overnight at the airport - quite comfortable and finally - an iron iron the room!. Wouldn't recommend as a vacation destination.

Very helpful personnel.
Although ibis is right next to a train station, no noise coming from the station could be heard in my room.
The WiFi Internet connection worked well most of the time, just in the evening there were problems with too many clients connected. In the night it gave a reliable 2/0.2 Mbit/s connection and sometimes even better.

The hotel is located a about 200m from the station exit, making it convenient to arrive by rail (as I did). There are quote a few bars and restaurants on the opposite side of the station, and various sandwich shops in the station concourse beneath the platforms. Proper restaurants can be found in the city Centre in Groot Markt which takes around 10-15 minutes to walk to, allowing a reconnaisance of a pleasant shopping street en-route

Hotel and restaurant need to be considered separately because there is a degree of mismatch between them. The hotel provides clean, comfortable, well thought out and equipped accommodation aimed at business travelers and it does this well. The restaurant is more up-market and offers fine dining from a good menu. It was surprisingly full for our Monday evening meal. The restaurant does what it does very well.

I stayed in B&B Charming Escape for one night upon arrival to Brussels. We were two adults and three children (2,5,8).
The accommodations were excellent the hospitality was very good and breakfast was great.
We ate breakfast outside in the beautiful garden and it was a lot of fun.
As we flew into Brussels late in the evening this was the perfect choice.
