  Situated about 5 minutes walk from Guillemins Station in a quiet (but not isolated) street the Lodge is surprising when you enter. All the comments left before abouth the Lodge ans the owner Sabine, who couldn't be more friendly and helpful, are true. Wish we had been staying longer and hope to go back because Liege is itself not what one might ex... hva folk sier » pect, lots of shops and bars, a bit like a cross between Barcelona and Paris in my opinion. - the location was good for us, since we were arriving and leaving the next day by train.Going to the city center was not a big deal with the 1-day bus pass we bought from guillemins station, with many buses passing by the next street. the furniture was warm and lovely with the access to the small garden with autumn leaves. the breakfast jams were such a lovely experience, all homemade.

  I had made a few requests online when I booked the hotel, and I was so pleased to find them all fulfilled when we checked in. The front desk reception was very friendly and competent.   There was so much to like about this hotel. It was in a peaceful location and looked stunning as we drove up. We were greated by the hotel manager who was super friendly and showed us around the hotel and to our room which was very comfortable and had all the usual facilities. The food in the restaurant was from a set menu and was superb (maybe a... hva folk sier » problem of choice if you were a vegetarian so would be worth mentioning on booking) and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant and b - The hotel was spotless and very tastefully decorated so that you appreciate the old chateau you are in but also enjoy the luxurious modern facilities and rooms. The new restaurant was beautiful and the chef and hotel manager went out of their way to give us a lovely and delicious dining experience - amazing food and great service. The location was lovely, set in the grounds of a golf course and the hotels public rooms make full use of views over the countryside.
