The trip to Liege was a surprise for my mom's birthday and before our arrival I contacted the hotel to inquire about anything extra they did for birthdays. They gave me a few options and I eventually chose the bottle of champagne.   Everything was fine: location is very central, maybe 1 km from the Palace and also near to other sights. I was living alone in the room for 4 people with toilet and shower. Breakfast was normal for such dormitory - I wouldn't say poor, but the variety wasn't big.
