  Jean-Paul was incredibly welcoming and friendly -- he made a detailed introduction of Brussels when he knew it's our first time there. The rooms were incredibly clean and spacious. The kitchen had all the basic stuff you'd need and there's even a Nespresso machine! Tea and coffee were always well-stocked. The breakfast was something we looked forward to every morning -- delievered at your door are fresh croissants from local ba - The room was very spacious and clean with a well equipped and stocked kitchen. Koen was a most gracious host, full of information. He carried our bags up and down to and from our room which we, as a mature couple, greatly appreciated. Cleanliness of the facilities was immaculate. The location is very good.

  Rooms were clean and new. Owners Xavier and his mother (forgotten her name) were lovely people. Xavier was such a gentleman helping us with our bags up 3 flights of stairs. He very informative with what to do in and around town. Xavier and his mother were able to call around to find out if things were open and to book things.   The apartment is very very nice and comfortable. The bed is perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped and easily allows the preparation of meals (despite the microscopic table for consuming them).   Rent og ordentlig, god frokost - On arrival at the hotel (3 hours before official check-in) we were warmly welcomed, our luggage stored and given a map and some advise on exploring the local area. We returned around 4pm and were directed to our room, the room was immaculate, and the bed very comfy :-) We had read a few conflicting reviews about t... hva folk sier » he hotel when booking and I have to say (having worked in 5 star hotels in the UK for 15 years) I could not fault a thing! If we are to return to Brussels I would not look anywhere els - Great location! Very close to the centrum and train station. The hotel is surrounded by several great bars and restaurants. Staff was very professional and accommodating. We arrived after the kitchen quite late and the bartender/receptionist were very helpful in providing late night snacks and drinks -- great staff! Free wifi with reasonable speed. Breakfast was great, although a bit expensive (20 euro) if not reserved in advanced.

  Veldig hyggelig betjening. fin frokost. Et reklametips: Ca 1872 hadde de to verdensberømte franske poetene Verlaine og Rimbaud et oppgjør med revolver på dette hotellet. Dette har litteraturinteresserte lest om, men de vet ikke at det var her. Det bør stå i hotellets brosjyre eller få plakett på veggen! (det står i en turistbrosjyre vi fikk i byen)... hva folk sier » - This hotel is a great value for the money. A good breakfast buffet is included. The location of the hotel is perfect as you can walk to all the important sights and there are lots of good restaurants within 7-8 blocks. Free WiFi worked well outside of the room and in the lobby but not in the room. We had two rooms and they were both nice and clean. WC in hallway not a problem. Helpful staff. - It was a large room - really two rooms, ensuite and separate toilet which was a very good size so we had plenty of room to store our bags. The furnishings were well maintained and we had plenty of towels and soaps to use. We appreciated that the room we had was very quiet and when the blinds / curtains were drawn, it was very dark and therefore we had a very good night's sleep.
