We stayed in the green room for 2 nights. The pictures online do not do the room justice, it is beautiful. We also got a sneak peak at the others rooms as the other guests hadn't checked in and they too looked really nice. The hosts were great and gave some good recommendations which we followed up on. The b&b is really close to the town centre, in fact the whole town is within walking distance. What we really liked is that although it is a b&b, you don't feel like you are staying in s.

Every corner was designed carefully, warmth you do not want to go home.. We felt Dick & Tineke It is important that we stay happy, and even more importantly, they give a feeling that you know them for a long time. The hotel is located in a great location and they give a lot of tips that make it easier for the first meeting w. Dick is a great person, I am very happy to have the chance to meet him. We've arrived late and it wasn't a problem. Dick gave a brief about Brugge for an hour and we made the right choice by listening his advices. We've stayed in blue room and the decoration was fantastic. Other members of our group stayed in green room and that room was very beautiful too. There was a very little smell of moisture but most probably the reason of this was the heavy rain in those days. If you want to feel at hom. Our room was so comfortable--quite large really. We had access to the dining area and outside living area, which really enlarged our living quarters. It seemed almost like home. The location couldn't be better. It is central, yet on a quiet street that is not heavily traveled. Our hosts were superb. They took the time to educate us about the city and common pitfalls. They had excellent recommendations and were very friendly. The breakfast was fantastic!. The welcome was wonderful, including the little sign on the door of our bedroom, with our name on, welcoming us. We also liked the way that Dick took so much trouble to explain what to see and do in Brugge. He and Tineke were so friendly. We also liked the freedom with which we could come and go, and make hot drinks in the little kitchen. This b&b is very close to the centre of the city, harmonized with the area's atmosphere, nice and warm, clean, with a great sense of hospitality... Felt like staying in a friends' house... The location was an easy walk to the main square. We highly recommend this B & B to anyone visiting Brugge. This B&B is wonderfully situated within the heart of the old town. It is also very comfortable - our bedroom was lovely and the breakfast excellent. Con Ampere is very welcoming (wine and sweets greeted us on arrival!) and its friendly proprietors, Dick and Tinneke, do all they can to make you feel at home. Hosts were extremely friendly and helpful in advising on good restaurants and providing local knowledge on places of interest. Their whole focus was on making sure you had an enjoyable stay. Close to town square and main attractions. Great atmosphere, outdoor terrace for a few relaxing drinks at end of day. Excellent location and lovely rooms. Parking at 7 euros was good vaule and you are given a lift back to B&B as car park around the block.
