  I had made a few requests online when I booked the hotel, and I was so pleased to find them all fulfilled when we checked in. The front desk reception was very friendly and competent. The service was excellent - a birthday cake was produced when the check in staff discovered it was one of our group's birthday. The trip to Liege was a surprise for my mom's birthday and before our arrival I contacted the hotel to inquire about anything extra they did for birthdays. They gave me a few options and I eventually chose the bottle of champagne.   There was so much to like about this hotel. It was in a peaceful location and looked stunning as we drove up. We were greated by the hotel manager who was super friendly and showed us around the hotel and to our room which was very comfortable and had all the usual facilities. The new restaurant was beautiful and the chef and hotel manager went out of their way to give us a lovely and delicious dining experience - amazing food and great service. The location was lovely, set in the grounds of a golf course and the hotels public rooms make full use of views over the countryside.

While breakfast wasn't included in our stay, they also own a restaurant which is right there and offer several options, at fair prices for breakfast.   Our room was comfortable for a family with young children. Location is very convenient for going to the Tongeren market and the staff was very friendly. My children loved the breakfast!
