  Friendly reception by owner; great service on getting in and settled. Home style atmosphere, great cuisine! Owners take special pride in setting up a relationship with guests. Excellent value for money. This hotel was the best value we had travelling from London, Zurch, Innsbruck, Salzburg and Vienna. I would highly recommend it to the average... hva folk sier » traveller.   The entire staff were super friendly - from the reception, the restaurant waiters, to the room keepers. We even had the lucky chance to meet the owner while he was playing the piano in the hotel den, and he was also super friendly. He even graciously invited us to his rehearsal. We particularly appreciated the restaurant reception (I can’t rememb... hva folk sier » er her name!) who graciously heated up my 2-year old’s milk before breakfast hours even started. When my son missed his lunch at a restaurant in St. W - I stayed two nights at this hotel and couldn't have been more pleased. I stayed in a surprisingly large "single" room, with a "sideview" of the lake. The room was pleasant and supplied with all amenities, and I particularly enjoyed having a comfortable spot for my netbook; Their wifi connection was excellent. The dining room and terraces and other lounge areas were lovely and relaxing, and I was fortunate enough to have unseasonably warm weather and loved sitting outdoors enjoying the view. Bre
