I stayed at this hotel many years ago and, for the most part, my recent stay was just as I'd remembered. The rooms aren't huge, but they're comfortable. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The breakfast room is my favorite thing about the Aniferhof, though. it is beautiful and welcoming--and it serves a wonderful breakfast with the best coffee

I loved this hotel! It was out away from all the busy life. We hadbeautiful views of the mountains. The restaurant food was excellent andthe staff was wonderful! Location: for seeing Saltzburg and the surrounding area it is near perfect, granting easy access (via public transport) to the city whilst allowing private motoring with ease.
Comfort: we opted for a room with balcony and, despite the road noise, were pleased we did as this gave us that little more space and the chance to sit outside.

I absolutely enjoyed my visit to that hotel. It is quite small, very clean, and it really feels like home.
Hotel staff is very attentive and ready to help and give some advice about places to visit, getting there, most interesting tours, etc.
The hotel is located within walking distance from Hellbrun palace and the Zoo (of course, you can go there by bus as well).
The hotel is very quiet, although a major highway is only about 200 meters away
