  I sort of fell into the Holzerwirt after a B&B that I had booked did not work out. I booked for one night but stayed an extra night because it was so lovely. Big, comfortable single room in a location in an old stone building it felt like I had air conditioning, which was great because it was brutal hot. I will be back! - This was a wonderful hotel. We booked this hotel at the last minute and only stayed one night because of our schedule, but would have stayed longer if we could. The staff was extremely helpful getting us directions to the places we wanted to go, and the food was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

  The scenery was beautiful and serene. It was nice to be in the countryside with a fantastic view of the mountains. The room was very modern and clean. The service from the front desk was very good.   The pension is in a very nice quiet out of town location, with a convenient bus stop for the short bus ride to the city. It was pretty much as expected from other reviews, I.E. clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed, including a nice breakfast. We used the free on site parking and took the bus both days of our stay. The lady who owns the Pension was very hospitable - The place is so nice. Surounded by mointains and you can hear the river running while you sleep. Me room was beautiful. The girl in charge was really nice. The breakfast you wouldn't belive... 17 kind of cereals, diferent cheeses, fruits, real coffee and more! The bus to the city runs often and it takes 10 min to get to there. You can hike near by and they lend you sticks and umbrellas.
