  The staff are always friendly and welcoming and very helpful. Mercure Townsville has a lovely feel to it with its well maintained gardens and pool area. We don't feel like we have to stay indoors, there are many places to enjoy in the grounds which makes our stay more enjoyable. - The deluxe king room was spacious with a balcony. The room had s... hva folk sier » mall kitchenette. It was only a 5 minute walk to the shopping centre which had buses to the city. There were a few cafes / fast food outlets in the same block.
