Great little bed and breakfast.. Sydney needs more like these! From the moment of making my booking to re-booking for the same trip next year, Chris, the host, was so kind, helpful and genuine. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome.
Breakfast is great! We stayed to attend a conference at Olympic Park which is only 15 minutes drive, but I think it would be great for a weekend away in Sydney as it is very close to a ferry stop where there is I'm told on street parking. alle vurderinger »

Chris was always very helpfull, willing to help with everyting! Ferry scedules, nice things to do around town, nice places for dinner, just getting you around in a big city as Sydney! Hellen thnx for your special Rubab-recipe! Hmmmm!! The breakfast is better than the one at home or at a hotel! Fresh fruit, yogurth, 4 types of muesli, (+ etc etc) juice, coffee, toast and vegemite!! :)

We stayed in the Garden Room and it is very private. Overall, the accommodation is very comfortable. We took public transport the whole time we were there and, after the initial confusion, we found it very easy to go back and forth to the city and all the tourist spots. Chris was very helpful. He even has downloaded the 536 bus schedule in his mobile. We went to the city in both directions - via Chatswood in one direction, and via Gladesville in the other direction. It is just a short walk.
We loved our stay at Linley House. Chris and Helen are very accommodating hosts. Chris is great with directions for anywhere we needed to go. We travelled on bus to Olympic Park, and by ferry and train into the city. This was my first time staying in Sydney and Chris and Helen made it a very easy and enjoyable experience.
Very friendly and helpful host who showed us the best way to reach the city centre by ferry, a trip that we can advise everyone. The room and breakfast were good, and the sitting room is a nice place to relax. A good place to make trips to other parts of the city as well. Close to a nice village, Lane Cove.
The B&B is excellent value for money and the facilities well above the average. The hosts are really wonderful, so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Much nicer than the big hotels in town. The breakfast is sumptuopus and kept us going all day!.
Our room was private, being located under the main house and had its own ensuite, tv, and tea/coffee facilities. We had access to the main house for breakfast or could use either of the two deck areas upstairs and lounge room. Chris and Helen are lovely people and excellent hosts.
The hospitality of Mr.Christ , the host . He is so friendly , helpful genuinely interested in making your stay in Linley house , a comfortable one. The place is very clean and easily accessible.. a 100% budget friendly place to stay in Sydney. .
The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The B&B was really a home away from home. Lovely walks along the river also. Far enough away from the hussle and bussle of the city that you could relax and enjoy the scenery.

Chris was extremely helpful with information and directions. The
breakfasts were great. It was a lovely spot to relax in a very large
city. Ferry access to downtown Sydney saved a lot of headaches.

We were visiting a friend in the area, but there are frequent buses into the city and very easy to use.
Chris and Helen are fantastic hosts who live in a beautiful home which was out home from home. They provided information and tips to getting around and could not have been more helpful.

The road to get there is a bit difficult. Busy one way street and entrance is between big rocks. Chris helps you with that by sending directions in pdf email. Worked out perfect! And free parking :) :) :).
The driveway is very steep and probably will present some difficulty to some people. This fact was not mentioned in the description of the place.

Hand rails in the shower and on the wall as you step up into, and down out of the shower stall are needed. Also, the bathroom shower floor tiles in the ensuite were a little slippery when wet.

While the accommodation was a little way out of the CBD, the is a bus stop right at the end of the drive.
The drive to the property is hidden and when found very steep but really that's nothing.

I made the booking for my sister in law's 25th anniversary surprise
gift, when I went to pick up the keys I was shocked, nothing is similar
as I saw online.To see the water need to use the binocular, its is on
the most busiest main road. I end up sending them "Sheraton On the
park" not at Linley's house. Could you please make sure the
photo is in online customer can rely on that.
