  The staff were very helpful and friendly. Was central to everything. Was very peaceful. Had activities for the kids to keep them occupied and most of all was the price which was very reasonable.   Everything is close. The backpacker is more like a villa. Stayed in a double room, was very good and spacious. There's a calm bar inside. Left my bag there after check out without problem. - The hostel was very clean and spacious. We were on an 8 bed dorm and it was fantastic with great facilities.   This is such a friendly hotel and the staff were so helpful it was a pleasure to stay there. Our room was pretty standard but good enough and very clean. About ten minutes walk into town which was far enough out to be quiet and peaceful from the night life.Loved the local connection to Papua New Guinea and the artwork at the hotel. The manager, Rosemary, was very helpful. We arrived a number of hours before we were supposed to check in and our room was already ready for us. The manager helped us book our tours and even drove us to the wharf on the day, so we wouldn't be late and this was greatly appreciated.
