  Large, clean room; beautiful surroundings both inside and outside the hotel; very good staff; good breakfast. The hotel provides excellent value for money. In fact, we booked out of the Hunter Valley Resort (Resort? What a joke!) despite having paid for the night and checked in here. The price of bed and breakfast at the Kirkton Park was less ... hva folk sier » than one night at that dump. - After visiting you on a number of occasions it was nice to receive our regular room at a discounted price. It was also nice to see more guests there than at any previous visit. As we travel up Sunday and return Wed is was real value for money. The grounds are now looking in great condition.

  We visited the Hunter Valley for a concert on the green. The location was perfect and also allowed easy access to other wineries. Our room was upgraded on the Sunday at no extra cost. Hotel was very clean and facilities made for a relaxing weekend. Staff were very helpful - We loved the rooms, the pool and the gardens. We were only there for two nights but wished we could have stayed for 10.

  The fact that the hotel staff warmed the room for us knowing that we will be arriving late hence we would not be cold after we arrive. The room has everything that a family with young kids need. The jacuzzi/ spa was large enough for my 2 kids to dip in. Each cabin has an attractive bushland outlook. It is very central for vineyards and other Hunter Valley attractions.
