The view from our room 4107 was absolutely fantastic! they had run out of rollaway beds ,but made up a bed for our daughter in the lounge which was just perfect for her to stay with us for a couple of nights.We loved your apples and the friendliness of all your staff even the cleaning ladies. We enjoyed our stay at the Meriton in Kent Street very much. It is nicer and cleaner than a similar priced apartment hotel nearby that we had previously stayed in. On arrival we were greeted by helpful, professional reception staff and the two requests we had made when booking were met.

We were really happy with the apartments. We stayed in a studio- it was
a good size with contemporary decor and furnishings and view to the
street. It had thoughtful touches like a coffee plunger, and
complimentary dishwasing tablets and clothes washing machine liquid. The
staff were great - the concierge noticed we were exhausted after
catching an overnight flight and (without being asked) arranged for a
room cleaned so we cleaned so we could check in early. We found the

The location is perfect! With a short walk (<5mins) you can take the light rail to central station and the bus stop with buses to circular quay (including 555) just in front of the hotel!
Haymarket and chinatown are about 5 mins walk from the back door.
Room is big ( for 4 pax), clean and nice! bed is extremely comfortable and the price is reasonable ( ~aud 700 for 4 nights excluding weekend)! -
One was not pressured into early rising to please the housemaids. We slept in late every day as you should on holidays. The near shopping centres were wonderful as were all the food courts and restaurants.There is no shortage of entertainment near by, as well as cruises in the harbour, sight seeing etc. The staff were friendly and curtious and we will definitely be returning on our next holidays.

Excellent place to stay when in Sydney. The apartment was wonderful with
an excellent view of Sydney from the 63rd floor. Facilities in the
apartment was complete. Location is strategic, near bus stops and within
walking distance to a few train stations. Of all the apartments that I
had stayed in a few countries, this was the best so far. In fact next
year we plan to stay here again when Airasia x has its special fare to
Australia again.

We loved how close the hotel was to everything - Darling Harbour, Town Hall Station, QVB. The hotel was well maintained, the rooms quite soundproof when the balcony doors are closed. Also loved that there was a balcony so that you were not confined to an air conditioned box - fresh air was able to be let in. Was also great that the accommmodation was an apartment so we could make our own meals if we wanted and also wash and dry clothes, which was a blessing as hwe got drenched by the rain on

I know that a few people have commented about the description of a one-bedroom apartment vs a studio, but the layout was perfect for us with young children; decent size and very clean bathroom (no bath just shower), king size bed that is 'open' plan in an area or 'room' and then into the large combined kitchen, dining and lounge area with good size balcony.

The views were great and accommodated the 5 of us very well. The shops, the Rocks and Darling Harbour were literally on the door stop. Staff were friendly and very helpful - I had accidentally left a make up bag behind and called up 10 days later to see if I had left it behind. It was found in housekeeping and promptly mailed back to me. I would recommend the Meriton on Pitt street to everyone, my friends and I are already planning our next girls trip and happy to have our accommodation sorted!

Great location. If you want to get the airport train and have suitcases
then consider getting off at St James instead of Museum station if you
don't want to lug cases up loads of steps. St James station is not
far and has a lift. We had a very large, modern, comfortable family room
with qs bed, two singles and a small lounge, dining table & chairs.
The beds were really comfortable and the decor lovely. The breakfast
provided was basic but all we needed.

All the detail in the room makes a big difference between the five star hotels in the world and this room had a lot of detail, very comfortable bed, TV in the bath, ambient lighting that changed colour around the bed, very comprehensive room service menu, lovely selection of teas, sink next to the tea
