  As an Events Manager I had traveled from nz to organised a ladies night out for a friends birthday at the Sheraton Sydney. As soon as we walked in the doors we were treated like princesses and the service continued till we were spoilt rotten. I was raised up with lavished hotels so I have high and fussy expectations. The bathroom bat - We found the hotel to be great - its location, staff, and comfort would be hard to beat. We certainly will be returning. The room we had was a corner room that faced out to the park which was lovely and it also had a extremely comfortable bed. The full breakfast available in the dining room had everything anyone could ask for from hot porridge through to bread and butter pudding with whipped cream.   Really friendly and helpful staff to match expectations for a boutique hotel. The 24hour coffee shop is great, and there are some really great eateries very close by as well. It makes us want to come back t - Arrived from the usa to Australia and was allowed to check in early. Front desk staff was Excellent. They were very helpful and knowledgeable as was our first time there! Hotel is clean, bed is very very comfortable and had plenty of hot water! (That was from other post we read before we got there!) Hotel in an excellent location in the cbd. It's not a luxury hotel but it would be a hotel I would choose again.

When we came back to collect our bags I asked if there was anywhere I could get changed (into travelling clothes). I was given a pass to the inhouse gym and told I could also use the shower. This was a fantastic service and I really appreciated being able to do this before a 24 hour flight home!

Excellent location, very quick walk to Town Hall and Museum (no lifts) stops. The cot the hotel provided for our 14 mo son was fine. He slept in it without complaint. Complementary internet was very good. 1GB/day and excellen - The views were great and accommodated the 5 of us very well. The shops, the Rocks and Darling Harbour were literally on the door stop. Staff were friendly and very helpful - I had accidentally left a make up bag behind and called up 10 days later to see if I had left it behind. It was found in housekeeping and promptly mailed back to me. I would recommend the Meriton on Pitt street to everyone, my friends and I are already planning our next girls trip and happy to have our accommodation sorted!

  The room is a great size. The view from the 12th floor was amazing. The kitchen was small but had all the components to self cater. Buses and trains only footsteps away. We were given a late checkout 11am on request. The parking was tight but adequate - Great location. If you want to get the airport train and have suitcases then consider getting off at St James instead of Museum station if you don't want to lug cases up loads of steps. St James station is not far and has a lift. We had a very large, modern, comfortable family room with qs bed, two singles and a small lounge, dining table & chairs. The beds were really comfortable and the decor lovely. The breakfast provided was basic but all we needed.
