  I love the feel of it - just like grandma's house. I first went to this motel when the children were at boarding school. They loved it too and everyone was so friendly. Parking and a buffet breakfast is also good and a wine in one of the lounges downstairs is a great end to shopping in Queen street.   Our stay here was perfect. Having stayed in the Campbell Street Meriton before we knew the quality was great but we were looking for something closer to Surry Hills this time. Danks Street is a great location just far enough from the city to escape the hustle bustle and enjoy some boutique shopping and delicious food. That being said, on our 1st taxi ride from downtown area, we were a bit nervous about the area. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that the neighborhood was an area which was in the process of being upgraded and our immediate area was all done and people living all around the hotel area. With a small store around the corner, we were able to buy a bus pass of 10 tickets and that reduced the cab fare hugely. There are some nice little rest
