Janet and Leister were very friendly and thoughtful hosts - every detail was attended to. The provision of ear plugs to prevent auditory assault from my travelling companion was particularly welcomed. It was such a bonus having complimentary access to quality bikes so we could enjoy the fabulous bike tracks in the area. We will definitely be returning. Drysdale house, along with Lester and Janice, was a lovely place to stay for a long weekend. The atmosphere was charming and very pretty. The bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the bikes as well.
Ambience and thoughtful extras. Exactly as advertised.
There was nothing we did not like.
The bed was neglected to be made up for the second night ( I love a made bed, especially when I don't have to make it). I didn't appreciate the noisy second morning ie heavy footsteps in the hallway, loud dust buster and loud knocking on the door( to change the sheets) all before 11am.. It seemed like they really wanted us out of there. That part didn't seem very professional especially because everything else was perfect.
