Staff very helpful, comfortable bed, balcony... everything you need for a one-night escape from the son's 20th Birthday Party in Toormina! We'll certainly keep the Sanctuary in mind if we ever want to escape again, but don't want to travel too far...lol. The Staff were very friendly and helpful, The room was very clean and modern Good King size bed & comfortable. Good bathroom. Great meals in the restaurant, Had Dinner & Breakfast there.

For the price of this motel it's value for money ,and the staff are very friendly and helpfull as well will be staying there when I back that way. Nice location, quiet with no highway traffic noise. Reasonably priced and close to where we needed to be. Restaurant was excellent - delicious carpetbag steak. Room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. Room had been freshly painted and fitted with new carpet and were very well presented. King sized bed and minimal traffic noises despite the highway address. liked the service and the room facilities. Also liked the location0. Price, facilities, room size, comfortable, clean and helpful staff. Close to the main Highway and great restaurant and great staff. Room was reasonably quiet, even though next to highway. Nice motel with a lovely dining room and excellent food. peace and quiet lovely room free wifi. The staff and rooms were top grade. Very nice rooms value for money. i am a return customer. clean & friendly. big rooms. Restaurant was really nice, location not too far from places either. Plenty of parking. Cleanliness and service was great. The room was clean and large. The peace and quite. close to town. Could hear the HWY noise through the night. (Trucks). The door of fridge mini bar had been left open so there was water all over the floor. Some ones sock from a previous guest was still on the floor just under one of the beds. Road access is limited to northbound vehicles only. Not a big fan of the soap dispensers... The stairs outside my door - I nearly knocked myself out the first time I came out of the door. no problems. No comment. The cicadas very noisy at that time of year ( December ). staff member in kitchen was getting all the dinner orders wrong. Balcony was tiny, only one person in and out at a time due to the design of the door. No shower cap, only 2 towels, chair leg wobbly, smoke detector taken off and just sitting on desk. Curtain not right either...just a bit poorly maintained. Also reception wasnt manned regularly, had to often ring when at the desk for someone to come out. Access is the only problem but can be easily overcome when you get to know the area. Average, quite overpriced like everything in Australia. The very hard bed. room had a strange smell.
