  Location is close to city centre and Lake Burley Griffin. If the weather is fine, it's only a short walk to city centre whilst the Lake is just across the main road with crossing via a walkway. Main sites are easily reached. We travelled by taxi as the weather was inclement and we had light luggage which wechecked into the sites we visited. If we return to Canberra, then this place would be - Superbly clean, even when using the eco-friendly cleaning option (by which you elect to reuse your linen and not to have powered appliances used to clean the room - a good option to have offered). Beautifully appointed room and bathroom. Fantastic location, with excellent dining options in the hotel and nearby (and artisan bakery is next door).

  Our hotel room on the third floor was clean and well designed, it felt like a bed sitter with the king size bed facing the window, separated from the rest of the room by long table. The room had more space this way. It was nice to wake up looking out at the trees in the morning, the bed was comfortable, we slept very well. Loved the location in t... hva folk sier » he centre of the City. - Bit of a misunderstanding with our room booking at check-in, however once it was sorted by the wonderful staff we were upgraded to the room we wanted with a beautiful surprise of wine and chocolates delivered! The room was spacious and so clean & comfortable, it was everything we wanted. The Restaurant was also delicious! We will be back for sure.

  Reception staff - very friendly at each encounter. I was welcomed with unsolicited suggestions and free maps - very nice touch you would normally only see in a small country town. I am not that fussy but . . . I find dry irons in hotel rooms very frustratingly ineffective and a statement of mistrust. Cap Exec provided a steam iron and it was a v... hva folk sier » ery effective one (took a pic; will buy one). Breakfast buffet was very, very reasonably priced - didn't feel any urge to over-eat just to get my mone - My wife fell and broke her arm 3 hours after we arrived; I was diagnosed with DVT 3 days later. We had to extend our stay by 3 days as doctopr would not allow me to drive home. Staff was very helpful indeed in finding another room for us for 3 days even though the hotel was heavily booked. Could not speak more highly of the staff. Also good to be able to have dinner brought to our room.

  When leaving the hotel I thought that the accommodation fee had already been charged to my credit card but was told that it not how letsbookhotel.com works, which I know is not the case, so I hope I haven't been charged twice. We were delighted with the friendly and efficient staff, and felt very much "at home" during our short visit.

  Excellent service. Had to drop our bags to get to a function and when we returned late that evening we were all checked in, keys ready and bags in our room.
