  I was pleasantly surprised by this place.It was very comfortable, friendly and clean. The room actually looked better than in the pictures, that is very rare. We came with a four months old baby, and we felt very welcome. They provided everything we needed to have a comfortable stay.   The welcome by receptionist was excellent, telling us not only about the motel but also about Byron Bay. A 2 minute walk to the beach through the back gate of the motel and across sand dunes. A walk of a further 5 mins or so along the beach brings you into Byron Bay. Walk along pleasant road into B.Bay took 10 mins max all on the level,thus an exc... hva folk sier » ellent location. We arrived by Greyhound Coach and it took us no more than 15 minutes to get there on foot. The motel was spotlessly clean both inside - Great service! They were keen to help with anything, provided a continuous supply of toiletries/tea/coffee /hot chocolate and even had umbrellas, towels and games that we could borrow for free. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have air conditioning and foxtel in the room. The beach is literally a minute away and it's a 2 minute walk from the main street.

  Clean and tastefully appointed rooms. We were a mature couple travelling with our mature daughter. The owners son who I gathered worked on mainting the Motel was very pleasant and very much open for a chat whenever we encountered him which made us feel very much at home. Laundry service was great. and the Costumer service was FANTASTIC. We came for 1 Night BUT we Stayed for 3 Nights Because we liked it so much. Landscaping was great and the Herb plants on the gazebo ware a pleasantly useful.

  We arrived by plane and airport transfer so holidayed without a car and found the location of this hotel ideal. 2 minute walk from the main shopping strip and 5 minutes to the beach. We found the room very clean, spacious and loved the private balcony overlooking the pool, garden and tennis courts. The cleaning staff were excellent and very accomm... hva folk sier » odating. We stayed for 4 nights but could have happily and comfortably stayed for many more. - The living area was very spacious and we'll equipped - it was excellent for us because we were able to have big family get-togethers easily. The swimming pool area was beautifully landscaped. Most importantly the owner and his wife were extremely helpful and put themselves out to make sure that our stay was an extremely enjoyable one.

  For the rating of the motel it way exceeded expectation. We normally stay 5 star. It was well appointed and very comfy bed( much better than most 5 stars).Everyone was very friendly and helpful.   We loved the hight of the ceilings. The balconies, the appliances, the furniture, the inside of the cupboards, the comfort of the beds and the air conditioning. The location was perfect. We didn't make it to the pool because of the rain but it looked lovely.
