You could tell the owner looked at the rooms from a traveler's point of view. In the King room, where we stayed, there were the following: Coffee machine (pods provided), box of cookies, microwave, a 400ml container of milk (not those horrid long life packets), coffee vouchers for the Beechworth Bakery, free videos, very comfy bed, great cooked breakfast included in the price, free WiFi looks like the rooms have been recently refurbished. Very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
alle vurderinger » Fabulous motel. Not your average motel - great attention to detail. The beds are so comfortable. There's a fridge, microwave, crockery in each room plus expresso pod machine. Tariff includes a hot or continental breakfast to your room. Just perfect. Second time stay and will be back next year. Excellent value! Many thanks to Brenda for making my stay so memorable. Very comfy beds, donnas, warm. Friendly staff and willing to provide cooked breakfast, no extra cost. Great facilities for us to make simple meals, if we needed, crockery cutlery, microwave etc quiet location, excellent shower, roomy for two people. Brenda the boss was extremely friendly and willing to provide for guests. Se also sold very reasonable wine to guests. The rooms were the yet to be renovated rooms, but still there was the utmost level of cleanliness, and little extras like a coffee machine and and endless supply of movies and magazines to borrow and not to mention brekky! Of course service and friendliness was top notch... best value for money we've had in some time!. We loved arriving to friendly staff and a beautifully decorated room, with many thoughtful extras such as a coffee pod machine and the little garden seats outside. It was close to the centre of town. It was fabulous value for money and we would stay again. This place is the nicest, classiest , cleanest motel ever. Staff were warm and friendly, free great breakfast. Beechworth treasure this gem of a motel you have, it's going to be your next major attraction!. The location was good if you had a car, not really walking distance to the town. Beechworth has interesting history of the gold rush & Ned Kelly, great boutique shops and excellent restaurants. Beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms without being overstated. Well appointed, everything has been thought with no extra cost including a cooked breaky. Great country charm and location. The room was quite spacious. The breakfasts which were included were fabulous and the owners were really helpful and friendly. Just a short walk to town. Very quiet situation. Loved having breakfast bought to the room everyday. Daughter loved the cleaners putting her monster's inc toy in bed with the tv remote, certainly brightened her day. the uniquely themed rooms each with luxury furnishings and each reflecting a different style. There were unexpected extras, breakfast big pack of biscuits,really nice toiletries , good coffee, comfy sofa, huge bed. The attention to detail in providing things for our comfort. They even had a windscreen cleaning tool for the car. Friendly staff, attended to our needs immediately, quiet location. Real milk -not longlife milk and plenty of it. Lovely quiet location and I would definitely recommend this place and I would be very happy to stay here again. Parking inside could be tricky. Signage outside poor and hard to find. Bit far out of town if you want to walk in to town, but also that is what a lot of people like. We were delighted with our stay. An outdoor area to sit would make the motel more attractive especially in summer. Didn't have the time to stay longer. Bathroom was a little dated and the shower a little difficult to adjust to correct temperature. Nothing. We enjoyed the whole lot & our relaxed stay. You need a car to make it back into town for a meal. Its just a little too fa.r to walk. the white rocks (gravel) out the front. The coffee in the coffee machine. The outside appearance of an average motel didn't do justice to the quality of the accommodation. nothing. nothing. Could not find anything negative about our stay. Nothing really. A bit out of town. Nothing really . We were not able to sit on the nice couch and watch the television as the room configuration meant we had to sit on the bed. Nothing bad to say. Bit far to walk to town. Beechworth is very expensive. took a bit of time finding it , but it was worth it. The reek of bleach in the bathroom which ended up on my trousers damaging them. I did not want any recompense but when I politely suggested to the staff/owner that she should be more careful she was extremely rude, didn't believe that the damage was done there and called me a B... Pom. Not good customer skills at all. Although I am Australian I don't recommend anyone with a foreign accent staying there. Bit too far out of main town area.
