The young couple running this small motel were very friendly and they
take good care of the place: rooms are very clean, comfortable and very
practical since there's a small kitchen (most motels we've
stayed at in Australia only had a small kitchenette area with a kettle
and sometimes a microwave). This one had a microwave, a sink and dishes
and cuttlery so that was perfect! Other than that, it is on the Great
Ocean Road, so great location, beach, supermarket and restaurants are

We loved the convenience of the Beachfront Motel, not least because we knew that we would be arriving after it was dark. It is very well-designed with the units arranged at right angles to the main road and shielded from any traffic noise by the reception area and office. Each of the units is equipped with its own mini-kitchen and this makes it perfect for an extended stay on the coast.
The room was spacious and clean, lots of room for luggage and a well supplied kitchenette. The location was quiet and had a nice beach view/access. The bed was comfortable, however the pillows need replacing. They were hard and uncomfortable. The shower had great water pressure, certainly woke you up in the morning! A good place to spend a few days exploring the Apollo Bay Area.
Beachfront Motel was a great find. The room was spotlessly clean with all the facilities you could need. The motel is located right on the main drag of Apollo Bay and is within 5 to 10 minutes walk of everywhere, including bars, restaurants, shops and the tourist information office. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for accomodation in Apollo Bay.
The guy at the front desk was very friendly. The room was clean,
spacious and nicely decorated. It came with a little kitchen and there
was nice separation between the bedroom and bathroom. Just stayed for
one night but I would definitely recommend for those looking for a well-
priced place to stay within close distance to attractions on the Great
Ocean Road.
Good location.very friendly Team running the Motel. Well stocked kitchenette. (Fridge,toaster etc) Comfortable bed. Room had suitable blinds but no air con. Ceiling fan was adequate for our visit. In short, an excellent night stop location for the Great Ocean Road drive.
We liked the area it was situated, right in front of the beach. We loved the staff, they were really friendly, really comfy place to stay at. For a small place, it really had everything needed to stay for the week.

The staffs are really helpful. We were enquiring with them on road toll

We particularly liked the separate kitchenette. The motel is ideally situated close to shops and eateries but still very quiet.

T.V reception was poor at times, although it might be due to the poor weather. Not being able to use a portable device on the T.V (ie; dvd player, game console, etc).
The glass window in the bathroom and kitchen is kind of translucent,
peeping tom might have easy access. Might want to improve on the
security in this area. Other than that, everything else is perfect.
Beachfront is a bit of a misnomer as it is across the road from the beach and the ocean view is hidden by the buffs. But great otherwise.
