Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge - Bilder
Hva folk sier
We stayed at this hotel as we did not want to stay in the township of Alice Springs as it is not that great at night and the Heavitree Gap has more of an outback feel to it. The staff are friendly, the rooms whilst not super modern are clean, well equipped with a few extras like plates, bowls, microwave & cutlery. The bed was a little bit hard but other than that everything else was fine. At night it is reasonably quiet and there is a tavern located on the premises just a few minutes walk . alle vurderinger »
the views were fantastic, all staff very friendly and willing to help at all times.rooms very clean and comfortable. room had fridge , microwave ,toaster, dishesand cutlery, which is very unusual for a motel to provide these things.
The little extras that make a difference- cutlery and delft, iron, microwave etc. And the price per room rather than per person. The convenience of a mini market on site. Nice location, outback feel, but five minutes from town.
Peaceful and enjoyable. Stayed in the motel & the room was clean & quiet. I would definitely stay there again. Good value compared to other places I've stayed. Tavern also has a very popular roast night. Yum!.
Natural setting by the side of a mountain/hill gap. Large rooms
with double bed plus 1 or 2 single beds to sleep 3 or 4 people.
Rooms had mini frig, microwave, coffee kettle, and toaster and
dishes for 3 people.
Location was very good value for money was good too. Lovely having the local Rock Wallaby's and Euros to be entertained by. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal with the complimentary wine/beer ticket included.
Feeding the wallabies in the evening for our 7-yeras old daughter, non-formal welcome at reception and good information about afternoon-sight-seeing tour to Mc Donell Ranges.
Location, facilities, eg tavern and small supermarket. The wallabies were great fun. Handy for exploring the surrounding countryside and places of interest. The shuttle bus.
It was very quiet in a lovely bush setting. It was great that there was a supermarket and a bistro with entertainment. The room was well stocked in kitchen items.
The stay was wonderful, would recommend Heavitree Gap Lodge to anyone. The sights and scenery around Alice Springs were fantastic and next time I will stay longer.
Feeding the Wallabies at DUSK,
Friendly- helpfull staff,
use of BBQ's at poolside area.
Quiet location,

(even on Public holiday).
I loved feeding the Wallabies outside our room.
The facilities in the room were great ie cutlery, fridge, microwave, iron etc
The views were fabulous.
Feeding the wallabies, the vouchers for the local restaurant as we checked in. Room was very clean and comfortable and excellent value for money.
everything we wanted was catered for by very pleasant staff, from cleaning staff to office staff.very friendly and cooperative.
Wild wallabies come onto the property around dusk. On-site restaurant with live music (most evenings).
Clean rooms, Friendly staff, good meals at hotel, convenient supermarket, BBQ, Rock Wallabies.
It was great having an equipped kitchen including a microwave, toaster, jug and fridge.

Comfort, peace & quiet, ease of booking.
Good price $76 for 3 people.
Seeing the rock wallabies.
I like the Lodge Room.
it is good.
everything.
The wallabies, the landscape, the birds and butterflies. Good supply of kitchen equipment and good size fridge. Handy supermarket.
Convenie, sensible pricing.
Wallabies.
The bed was hard, needs to be replaced with something better.
not over keen on the exit road, as you have to go a long way round, and then pass the front of the motel 5 minutes later.
Couldn't get the free in house movies.
Because it was 5 km out of town and there were only 3 free shuttle times
provided by the hotel into town, it costs $12-15 for a taxi one way.
Roads need some patch work done to make the place looked tidy. Stained carpets didn't make the place look clean.
Nothing.
The fact that it was so far out of town which was only a bother because I was there on the week-end and the free shuttle was not working then. I am sure that through the week the distance out of town would not be a problem.
Nothing.
NO Free WiFI, No austar/foxtel
Internet connection really slow,
due to being so close to base of mountain,
Bed(queen) to Hard in Rm 224.
the shower had no exhaust fan,and all the bathroon floor got wet when showering, making it very slippery.
Somewhat removed from Alice Springs town center.
I wish I had realised that the window toward the road was one way glass. We kept the curtain pulled as there were people walking by much of the time ....
hired a car so didnt mind driving to town, perhaps have hourly bus available and perhaps offer cheaper trip to airport.
Wireless and mobile network not accessible in room.
The bus being repaired had its desel engine running for everal hours, ruining what could have been a lovely peaceful picnic by the pool.
The partly on site mini-supermarket customer service and customer interaction could do with some serious smartening up.
Wifi non existent.
Beds need to be upgraded could see a clear body outline on one side of the bed.
Hard to find. Direction and mosq.
Rooms are in need of some maintenance and aren't very sound proof. It's a bit far from town centre.
But i don't like the Dorm Room. It wasn't clean this is my last Visit's experience.
away from city.
The bed had lumpy springs sticking up in the matress.
Hand basin to close to the toilet I kept hitting my head.
No mobile reception in lodge area. Have to go to caravan park. Due to West Mac blocking the signal. Tea bags not refilled over 6 nights.
that our bed was uncomfortable and the room was dirty, sheets had not been changed dirty tissue in bed. won't be stay there again.
