For the price, this is a steal. Spacious room, wifi, fridge, shower, airconditioning [ a bit noisy ], very friendly manager ... didn't try the pool though it looked inviting, didn't try the continental breakfast either as we had a flight to pick up but appreciated its availability. Recommended.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was available for use in breakfast room, also computer in breakfast room. Rooms are clean and comfortable with coffee/tea available. Pool is clean and relaxing.
Everything was fine for me but some people may find a basic breakfast - coffee, tea, juice, cereal, toast & jam - also a good 20 minute walk to town, not a constant bus service.

Alice Motor Inn was extremely good value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, and it is located within an easy walk into the centre of Alice Springs, whilst providing a quiet location.
Good location 10 minute stroll. Gee was lovely and very welcoming. Told us about places to visit and where to eat. Basic accommodation but does the trick especially if you're doing lots of trips starting very early. Simple breakfast but available any time so you can eat at 5am before a tour.
Bed linen dirty and bed too soft.

You shouldn't expect a 5 star hotel in the middle of the outback but when you search for a clean nice room the AMI is the place to be in Alice Springs.

Adequate basic breakfast, on site cooking facilities, comfy large room ( unlike other squashed 3 bed motels). Highly recommended if combining with tour. Supermarket round the corner & excellent Taste of India Restaurant just down the road.

Great location, wonderful proprietor, friendly vibe, very clean and comfortable. Laundry facilities and free Internet with nice set-up for light breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely a much better value than similar accommodations in Kings Canyon and Uluru. Wish we had extended our visit to Alice Springs.

The Alice Motor Inn is a real gem in the heart of Alice Springs. The motel is run by a family, and both Gee and Carmel are excellent hosts. We immediately felt welcomed and, judging for their attitude to us and what we observed in their interaction with other guests, nothing is too much trouble. They provide a well-equipped kitchen for the use of guests, as well as a laundry and line for drying clothes. There is a small but pristine pool. We would highly recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable, affordable and friendly place to stay. Gee and Carmel understand the true meaning of hospitality.

We stayed only two nights in Alice Springs and were very happy we had booked Alice Motor Inn. Gee, the manager was very helpful and friendly with good recommendations for dinner and places to shop. When we wondered if the Didgeridoo show was running, he was quick to call and find out for us. Also, he checked with Emu Run Tours to verify they would pick us up in the morning. He really did look after us. The room was clean and well outfitted with everything you'd need, including good air conditioning and a ceiling fan. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel - we loved it and we loved Alice Springs!

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. This is not luxury but everything is done from the service side to make the stay feel 5*. Breakfast is a nice touch. They deserve their Tripadvisor award.
No complaints at all
The staff immediately accommodated us with a third night, then realized they did not have the smaller room available for all three nights -- got the upgrade to a larger room for free. Computer and internet were free. Breakfast was available starting at 4 am for those going off on tours.
&Quot;Breakfast" was a pretty meager, do-it-and-clean-up-after- yourself affair, and I still don't know if the eggs in the frig were for guests to use. But really, this is a small complaint.
Good value for money especially as we were fortunate to be upgraded and had an first floor spacious room which couldn't be faulted. The ground floor rooms looked a bit hemmed in, with people walking past the windows all the time. Good to have a pool which was very well maintained. And being set off the road, no hassle from traffic noise. With a supermarket just five minutes walk away no worries re getting provisions.
The 15 minute walk into Todd Mall might have been a problem in the heat of the day. But for us on a cooler cloudy day, it was perfect for a stroll.

The Alice Motor Inn is not newly refurbished, but it is clean, comfortable, and the manager Gee will do many things to make your stay enjoyable and point you in the right direction to save money on trips, and other things. I would stay there again.
