  Very welcoming staff, nice facilities including kitchen, laundry, bar, pool.. The family room was very clean and comfortable. Although is a little far from downtown, they offer rides. Free wifi. - The quiz night was fun.. And it was the only day you can see more than 15 peaple in the public area

  Nicky, homey, smaller backpacker type of place. I booked a single room and I loved it. Not a party type place. And away from downtown. Best price for a single room. - staff were realy helpful and friendly. Everything was kept clean and the hostel had a good feel to it.The free breakfast was a good way to start the day.

  Excellent and very helpful staff! There was something fun going on every night such as drinking games, reptile shows, cheap bbqs etc. The people and music is quite loud (which is fun, people are happy), but it gets quiet after midnight. Showers and toilets were clean. There is about a 20 min walk from the hostel to the city center but the hostel h... hva folk sier » ave free shuttlebuses about once every hour. If I come back to cairns, I will stay here again! - just really good service and everyone there was really helpful. plus the place just has a great atmosphere and I dont usually like backpacker hostels so that is saying something.

  The hostel is more a like a family you haven't met yet. The staff is awesome and very helpfull with anything and can even organise your trips for you. The rooms are spacious and clean without bunkbeds! That was a first timer for me :) They run free shuttles downtown and you get a free meal in the local pub as well. We found and booked this hostel through letsbookhotel.com for the first two nights, and decided that if it was not suitable we will change to another one.
