  The setting is gorgeous. Tilcara is a beautiful little town, and the hotel is perched up at the very top, with a nice view. The hotel itself is small but lovely. The grounds are well cared for, the rooms are spacious and attractive, and the breakfast was one of the better ones we've had here (it included fruit salad, deli meat and cheese, along wi... hva folk sier » th the usual bread/pastries, orange juice and hot drinks). We also loved taking a swim in the pool, which is somewhat heated (though the heat doesn't - The layout of the small hotel complex is good, with the garden and pool area in the middle. The architectural style was also pretty damn good. Breakfast was quite tasty. The bedroom was good, big bed and good shower. It might get a bit chilly in the cooler weather, even when we were there it was not the warmest room in the world.

  The location is beautiful, overlooking Tilcara city (and only about 5 minutes walking from the main square). The architecture is thoughtful and practical with some ingenious touches (skylight over the bathroom sink? Great idea!). But the best part is the people--they give advice without trying to "sell" anything. And on my departing day, they left... hva folk sier » my breakfast out an extra two hours because they knew that I like to sleep late. I'll definitely be back! - This is a superb hotel, the decor is simple and tasteful, the views are beautiful and above all the staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome and very much at home. The breakfasts are delicious. It was the nicest place we stayed in during our whole trip to Argentina and we would love to go back one day.

  We really enjoyed spending time here. Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely patio area overlooking the mountains and town. It was easy walking distance into town. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and breakfast was very good. - The view from the room, The casual nature of the place. The breakfast. The "regional feel".

  Natural materials give this hotel a rustic yet luxurious feel. Great views of the mountains. Private balcony. The welcome drinks with cookies was a nice touch. Good breakfast buffet with eggs made to order. - I loved this hotel--views are spectacular, rooms are very comfy and staff is so great. I will absolutely return.
