We've been very fortunate in enjoying great travel. No hotel in the world, for us, compares to the Alvear. It is perfect in every way - the rooms, services, dining. It is expensive but worth every single cent. -

The hotel was fabulous. Loved the interior decorating, the designer and architect really took some time to think about the esthetics as it gave it a sleek modern look. The staff were all very professional and helpful (thankyou Sergo - the overnight guy) he recommended a great tango show. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Good location

The staff were always very helpful and nice when answering questions.
Everything was clean and the hydro massage bathtub was amazing,
specially after a long day walking. The breakfast was delicious as well
and they have variaty of choices to eat. The also offer an excellent
lunch for a fair price (cheaper then restaurants in general).

Booked one of the larger rooms and it was a good choice. The staff were helpful and room cleaning was great. The location is decent, right near the subway with a few shops nearby for groceries. It was nice to have a large suite to relax in. -

I thought the room was great vaue for money, although the letsbookhotel.com pictures and description make it sound as though it has a zacuzzi in the room, when in fact it's not even in the same building. They did leave some welome choclates
