  Perfect hotel. We will go there again if we visit El Calafate. The hotel owners were very friendly. The man drove us to and back the city centre for free (free hotel service!). The wife cooked for us whatever we wanted. And it tasted very good. Ask her lamb stew with patato's. Myriam indeed cooks great, we stayed for the dinner at the hotel and had very good steaks. Location is remote, but the owner kindly suggests round trip to the city centre if needed.

  Accommodation was more than adequate. We were sharing with daughter and son-in-law and we were pleased with the space and equipment (except kitchen equipment - see below). Having breakfast delivered daily at or about the time specified was a real bonus.   We are a couple from Mexico in our fisrt trip to Calafate. We found Hosteria Meulen wonderful and clean. Hostesses were very nice and always worried about our satisfaction. It is not a place for those looking for luxury, but instead you will find a great staff that will make their best to make you feel like you are at home. Have a free cup of tea at 6 o'clock looking at the birds flying over the Nimez laguna and waking up with the birds singing is really fantastic. The staff there were wonderful and extremely helpful, even packing our breakfast to go each morning because we were going on early tours. Highly recommend this hotel.
