  Staff were very kind and helpful. They organiced my tour to a Tango place. Obelisco Center Hotel is very well located. Close to all the interesting places to visit in Buenos Aires. My room was very quiet but, as I expected, The Obelisk coulden't be seen from it. The room, the bathroom and decoration were a bit old and oldfashioned. Steps from Florida Street, the Obelisk, Colon theatre, etc. The hotel is clean and comfortable but don't expect luxury of any kind.   From reading other reviews before we chose Galarias Hotel, other reviewers mentioned that the entrance to the hotel is on a small narrow street. This is true, but it is just a half a block west of a main shopping pedestrian walkway. If you like being in the daily hustle- bustle of the locals, this is a good spot.
