  Please read our previous review. Over the course of three weeks, The Via Arriba became our home base. We spent 5 nights there, went off to Uruguay for 4 days, came back for one night, went to Santiago for another 4 days and back for one. We will be back! - We loved the location being in Centro. The owner, Gisela, was very friendly and accommodating in terms of arrival/departure times. Claudia, who serves breakfast and cleans, was fabulous in spite of the language barrier. The breakfast was great! The attention to detail, including cleanliness was most appreciated. We loved our stay.

The B&B is located in a very fascinating but somewhat gritty part of town -- but the street art is fabulous and the atmosphere on Sundays (street dancing, street musicians, market) is great. Our room was right at the top of this lovely old mansion.
