  With the group of friends that stayed over the weekend, we wished we could have stayed longer. It was most relaxing and the food was very good. So much to choose from for breakfast and coffee as early as 7:30 was delightful. Wonderful location to the Plaza and great place to just enjoy the quiet.   My girls and I love Casa Benavides, the room was very warming in decor and comfort. My daughter loved the fresh made waffels and muffins for breakfast. The staff and owners are super friendly, I just can't say enough how wonderful our stay was.   I loved the owners and the way the rooms are set up. It is a very small place but very private, comfortable, friendly, relaxing. A great respit for the weary traveler and the a lovely place to stay and check out Taos. It is close to the plaza and lots of restaurants. Breakfast was so nice. The common area and gardens were wonderful -- we felt totally at home and relaxed. Breakfast (cooked by John) was outstanding. We booked for one day, but loved it (and Taos) so much that we changed our plans and stayed longer.
