  I was bringing my son back after the Easter weekend and didn't want to drive back home that evening. I also didn't want to spend a lot for basically just a night's sleep. We usually stay at the Atherton but when I went online they wanted $30.00 more for a room than than the Days Inn (that's my gas $ amount for my drive home!). I appreciated the complimentary coffee and the front desk staf - I participated in a conference at Penn State University.I was out the door ar 8am and coming back after 9 pm. I didn't have much time to take advantages of facilities. I liked the location, it was walking distance from Alumni building.I liked the fact that I could open the window to get fresh air and hearthe birds in the morning.

  The staff was quite helpful, and the manager seemed to have the solution to any issue that came up at her fingertips. It was a quite pleasant trip thanks to her, and the whole staff was focused on making sure we were satisfied the whole time. Oh, and EVERY local restaurant they recommended was awesome! - The kids loved the hot cocoa machine, and ... wat mensen zeggen » we loved the coffee. The continental breakfast suited everyone's tastes. We liked the price. The beds were comfortable. The red haired desk clerk was very helpful. And, we love the location.
