  We had a wonderful stay with our family- the rooms are bit cramp, but we knew this. We wanted to stay near union square and that we did. We were able to really enjoy everything in walking distance. We would return again. We normally stay around the corner but after such a lovely stay at The Sir Frances Drake, we would definiltey stay there again. ... wat mensen zeggen » - Being in a historic hotel Conceirge Katherine extremely helpful and friendly - also other staff - Whei - asked and got tour of sleepeeze room!! Beefeater and staff friendly Pizza and wine tasting hour great, met interesting travellers at the hotel. Bed very comfortable. Fab. location for exploring city, and shopping/eating.

  Huge surprise...located off of Union Square in what used to be a very downtrodden area...a little jewel in the middle of Powell Street. Fantastic restaurant shares the beautiful lobby. The decor throughout is tasteful the decorator highlighted the elegance of the old hotel and the bathrooms in the rooms are redone beautifully. We upgraded to junior suite which was lovely and and interior room very quiet; you w - Everyone was so friendly and the staff went out of their way to make sure that we would be comfortable. They even suggested that we might want to change our room because they were afraid that being on a lower floor we'd be bothered by the noise of the street! Then they checked on us to make sure we were not bothered by the noise at all. When I needed assistance with my computer, they helped immediately and they printed out what I needed at the front desk free of charge. Everyone was SO nice. Th

  This is our 2nd time staying here. The staff are always very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and very comfortable. We were checked in by Daniel and his dog, Snoopy. They were both extremely friendly. Daniel told us about all of the events around the hotel and made us feel very welcome. We love that the facility is so pet-friendly a... wat mensen zeggen » nd would like to bring our dog next time. Far- beyond amazing. Thank you! - We were extremely pleased with this hotel. The location was fantastic and the extra touches.....coffee, tea & hot chocolate in the morning, wine, beer and hot cider between 5 and 6 and then cookies later in the evening made the stay even more pleasant. We were able to get a great price through letsbookhotel.com and the room and the staff were great. We would definitely stay again.
