  This was my first trip to sf taking my 13 year old granddaughter. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions, restaurants and ways to travel around the city. The breakfast was simple but all that was needed to start our day plus sitting outside in the courtyard was delightful. The rooms were bright and very clean. The car stayed p - Nice, clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The heated pool. Big rooms and a great American breakfast that was included in the price. The hotel is in the neighbourhood Marina, which has great restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. It is also well-connected with buses nearby to downtown and to the Golden Gate bridge.

  The staff were so friendly and welcoming and all, especially the concierge Ray, went out of their way to help. We felt genuinely welcomed and appreciated the insider tips on using a Munipass or finding a good place to eat. The hotel was great for a peaceful night's sleep without traffic noise and within walking distance of Crissy Fields and sunse... wat mensen zeggen » t at the Golden Gate Bridge. Excellent public transport to Fisherman's Wharf or city centre. It was also great value for money. - The staff were excellent: friendly and helpful and were able to give us great tips. The cookies were a huge hit with the children and the access to hot tea ( something not so common in USA) was wonderful! The hotel was quiet and although the eating area for breakfast is small, there was never a problem finding somewhere to sit and eat. Having parking was also excellent.

  The Regency was easy walking distance to everything I needed in SF: Union Square for my conference, the BART line to and from the airport for a reasonable price, and tourist attractions like the F line to Fisherman's Warf. The staff at the Regency was very helpful and friendly. Those who are looking for some place upscale should NOT stay here. Our bathroom had new fixtures, and the furniture was clea - The staff was amazing! I had a unique situation, with moving halfway across the country with my new job, allergies, & a car. They worked with me and accommodated all of my wishes. The eggs (whites), fruit, and waffles for breakfast were big plusses. Also, the Wi-Fi was secure and I needed that for work. I will probably stay there again during my transition. The neighborhood is great too!

  I booked this hotel for a quick two day trip to see San Francisco with our kids based on the good price compared to nearby hotels, not really expecting much in the way of facilities. My wife even encouraged me to reconsider after out of fear it would not be clean or safe. I'm happy to say we were very surprised and happy with this property. We walked from the hotel to Pier 39/Fisherman's Warf, Chinatown, North Beach, Union Square, then would take the bus back. We did this with a 5 year old & a 2 year old. The rooms were clean & tidy with plenty of space. I would definitely stay here again.

  We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our journey around the West Coast and had a pleasant stay at this hotel. We stayed on the second floor which had a small dining area and outside patio which we used alot. The room was a bit on the small side but had everything we needed and was clean. Location is great. If you're able I would recommend trying to walk up and down this at leas - As a mom traveling with 2 teenagers, I thought this was a great place. It's an older hotel that could use updating, but it's clean, staff is friendly and it has free parking. It's perfect if you do not plan on spending a lot of time in your room. We left every morning by 9am and came back around 7pm, so it was perfect for the amount of time we spent there. It was a 10-15 minute walk to Fisherman's Wharf and 4 blocks to the top of Lombard where it becomes the crookedest street. Easy walk to catc
