  The hotel was our favorite in Florida. Locally owned, not a chain. Room was spacious and while we only stayed two nights would have been very comfortable for a long stay. Was equipped with everything for our comfort and convenience. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The area felt very secure and I was comfortable walking along on the beach. There are turtle nesting sites - Love the short walk to the beach. Room was comfortable and very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a real "beachy" feeling from the outside deco to the inside. Grocery store was close at hand and a couple of good restaurants. Easy to get to all the sites of St. Augustine. Enjoyed the relaxation.

  Our room was comfortable and well-appointed. Everything was immaculate and the beds were excellent. The hotel was very quiet and clean. We arrived in our room to find that a small bit of plaster had fallen from the ceiling after a heavy rain the previous night. We alerted the front desk and everything was fixed by the time we returned to the room... wat mensen zeggen » a few hours later. We have stayed at several places in/near St. Augustine and this was by far the best and the best value for money. - We loved the location and the comfort of the room. We also were very impressed with the breakfast buffet. We especially liked the fact that it was close to the St. Augustine Outlets. We really enjoyed our stay and we look forward to returning.
