  Comfortable and secure, like staying with Mom! Beautiful home, spotless. It is not too often that one can feel as clean as at home when traveling. Inviting decor, quaint and very, very relaxing. The room and furnishings were beautiful, beautiful wood work original to the home. The breakfast was superb, along with the balcony that went with our room. We sat and relaxed after our long drive.   One questions too many 10s. Hardly possible. But in this case true. This is a wonderful B&B and small inn. The owners, one energetic, the other more laconic but droll, are there to help and give advice but they are not intrusive. The bedrooms are large and with plenty of space to lay personal stuff down - with a wonderfully comfortable chair a... wat mensen zeggen » nd lamp to read by. The first floor, entirely open to guests, is friendly - I spent several hours reading in front of the fireplace. And, as the other - The breakfaast was delicious. We really enjoyed freshly bake pastries, and te poached pear in rasberry sauce. You have use of the living room and atrium. There is also a billiards table available for your use. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly.

  The owners are very nice and helpful. They serve a tasty breakfast. They provide good information about Gettysburg. The house is an interesting combination of early 19th century architecture and construction that has been well maintained and tastefully updated. It's a comfortable and pleasant place to stay.   Eileen and Dennis really know great hospitality. My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and were completely comfortable and felt so welcome by these sweet people. The Chestnut Room was just the right size for 2 people and the breakfasts were amazing and plentiful. It was great to wake up to fresh pots of coffee that were always full. It was nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxi - Warm friendly and very homey. Eileen and Dennis share a lot of valuable information on Gettysburg. They share the historical history of the farmhouse. They welcome you with homemade chocolate chip cookies and coffee or tea. They prepare a wonderful breakfast in the morning and everyone shares their plans for the day and where they are from. This was my second visit and have not been disappointed either time.

  Our hosts, Brian &Tessa were fantastic. The extra attention to details, including information prior to our arrival, was much appreciated. We loved the guided tour of the battlefields (arranged by Brickhouse). It really gave us a thorough and informative perspective. And the breakfasts - truely superb. - Excellent location.
