We liked the exquisite lobby, the front and back porches, the grounds,the view, the lake, the secluded location, the ambiance, the pine motif, the cozy seating in front of the fireplace. The room , albeit small, was nicely decorated.I felt like I was in the Gatsby era...or in the movie,"Somewhere In Time". -

Misschien wel het mooiste hotel waar ik ooit voor 46 dollar in heb gezeten. Goede service, prachtige kamers zonder geluidsoverlast, zeer goed bereikbaar, perfecte locatie in het centrum, mooiste zwembad in een hele lange tijd. Kortom, uitstekend! - Keurige ruime kamers. Vriendelijk personeel

The staff was excellant very personalble. We had just arrived at the philadelphia airport from Paris a long flight and we had a 5 hour drive home. So staying at the renaissance was great for a good nights sleep the bed was very comfortable and room was spacious.and clean We had late snack when we arrived and enjoyed the breakfast the next morning

This hotel is an renovate during we stay. Our room was perfect, but 1 bed on 2 was old. Internet free in the room, it's perfect too! Coffee 24 hours at the reception, very nice. And the cookies, excellent! And for my dog too! With pet, this hotel is very nice. -

The manager's cocktail reception and cooked to order breakfast become gathering places where guest meet other guests. We had a fascinating time meeting people who were attending a convention at the hotel. -

I was quite concerned after reading the mixed reviews, however there was
an event that took 8500 rooms in Philly with many hotels sold out and
choices were extremely limited. Microtel is a great choice if you just
want a clean bed and bathroom and easy train access into Philly. It was

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean, and I was with some picky friends who immediately tore both beds apart looking for bugs or soiled sheets. None found! We stayed for 3 nights, and were happy to be there. We'd stay again.

The staff was great. The room was spotless. Everything worked. The shuttle bus driver went an extra mile when my wife left her purse in the rental car shuttle bus.
