Waking up to a view of High Line Park and the Empire State Building. Comfortable bed, quiet despite being in the middle of the city and great shower. The only thing that i did not like was that we reserved a room with a king sized bed and pull out sofa and were given a queen bed which made it difficult with the medical devices. I am not sure ifbthisbisvan issue with Staybridge or letsbookhotel.com We tried to correct this but were unable to. -

This is a good alternative to staying in downtown Manhattan. Coming from a small UK town the area was a bit of a culture shock.
Spacious appartment with everything you need for a short stay. Subway stop just around the corner so easy to get downtown in 15 to 20 mins. You can also walk to the Guggenheim in a similar time.
A couple of nice restaurants nearby and a supermarket if you want to eat in.
