  We loved the room. Small but beds were very comfortable. Our friend's suite was well designed and comfortable. The staff was really nice and attentive. We were happy to find this hotel in that area because of location close to shopping and winery tour!   Upon arriving the staff were very friendly and offered us a choice of floors. The room was spacious with a small kitchen. It was very well appointed with many electrical outlets and Wifi. The bathroom had the vanity separate, which is very helpful. The king size bed was comfortable, and the pull-out sofa worked well for us.   The only thing that i did not like was that we reserved a room with a king sized bed and pull out sofa and were given a queen bed which made it difficult with the medical devices.   I like the style, frankly the ' class ' that The Carlyle and that the staff exude. I stayed many times at The Carlyle in the 1980's early 90s, indeed had my wedding there in 1998. I haven't been at all since for no negative reason but simply professionally I no longer visit NY, but expect to privately will do periodically going fwd.
