  I like the style, frankly the ' class ' that The Carlyle and that the staff exude. I stayed many times at The Carlyle in the 1980's early 90s, indeed had my wedding there in 1998. I haven't been at all since for no negative reason but simply professionally I no longer visit NY, but expect to privately will do periodically going fwd. I liked it as ... wat mensen zeggen » much as I ever did with one minor caveat that I mention in the ' did not like ' box across. - The general and unspoiled traditional ambience. The bathroom was intelligently and luxuriously designed.

  Great spa, great setting, very, very nice and helpful staff. Very good food except for the Gurney burger--dry and tasteless. Nice rooms, great views, comfortable beds. Very clean and comfortable baths. It was a wonderful place to escape and relax. - Everyone who worked there was friendly and professional.We had a 2 bedroom suite right on beach.W... wat mensen zeggen » e had a problem with guests overhead. Front desk immediately offered us to move to another suite no problem. Great customer service.
