  staff made children feel very welcome, great little "extra's" for kids (teddy bears, snack boxes, baby soaps, etc.), great location, nice rooftop bar, food in hotel was very good - 1. Staff very courteous 2. Great facilities 3. Nice atmosphere 4. Concierge service very polite and helpful

  We loved the complete set-up, the maritim style throughout the hotel. Common areas were nicely furnished and with great views of the marina. In the evening the staff would light bonfires on the different terraces.The rooms were bright and spacious with balconies, the bathroom was big and nice and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was also nice you could choose many different things like omelettes or - The staff was excellent from the doorman to the pool staff. The front desk was helpful. Erica at the bar was attentive and made you feel like you've been showing up there for years. The gentleman who provide fires outside for two nights was a very nice man.

  I did enjoy the luxury and the amenities in the room, loved the art deco design in throughout the hotel and particularly the old suitcase style dressing in the room.   Very friendly and extremely helpful staff. Fantastic location. Very nice room. Very well kept and looked after while we were there. Never felt intruded upon by house keeping. They came in while we were out. We always had fresh bath linens and the room was always spotless. Everyone at the hotel, door men, concierge, front desk, bell hops, security,... wat mensen zeggen » house keeping staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. We visited two other hotels in the area were relatives and friends were staying. Both we - Everything....professional and attentive service to all sorts of personal touches to make you feel "special" to the point you forget how much you are paying for these features :)

  OM-Gosh! What a hotel.... Firstly the staff are A-mazing and secondly the hotel is just marvellous. This hotel is more like a private members club than a hotel, its chic, suave and sophisticated but by no means 'showey' like most high-end expensive hotels. The attention to detail on furnishings in the drawing room and bedrooms is just exqusite. Soft-Drinks and Treats in the room are all gratis which - The closest hotel I have found is the Milestone in London. It has perfect, large rooms for NYC, free snacks and soft drinks, a wonderful spa, and enough quirks and charms to make it I suspect the best hotel experience in NYC. You can pay up for a fancy, big lobby but I think this is actually the best hotel experience.
