Always clean, they keep upgrading things, eg tv'S. Since the State
Police always stay there, it's an added "safety factor."
Safety has never really been a concern for me. -

a nice place in a perfect location at a sweet price. helpful staff members were able to point me to convenient locations for the things I wanted to do.
Although they have an exercise room, it was even right next to a bike path, so I was able to easily and conveniently enjoy my morning walk outdoor like I prefer. -

The room was very large and the seating area was fantastic for having a space in which you could eat or talk and not be sitting on the beds. The breakfast the next morning had a great selection for all appetites and several different 'stations' to avoid one area getting too busy. -

Excellent value for money for a large city. Very good breakfast. Great facilities for young children. Pool, small exercise room if you want that. Coffee and granola bars on demand in lobby. Would definitely stay again. -

First experience of a hostel and it was excellent. Helpful staff, extrememly clean and well kept, fruit, cereal and bagels provided for breakfast with microwave and cooker should you wish to purchase anything for yourself, basic room but perfect as base for exploring Chicago. 5 to 10 mins walk to John Hancock Centre and oak street beach and explo

I liked the location in terms of being able to walk or easily take
public transportation to the heart of the city as well as the immediate
area, 6 bed dorm room and nice bathroom, helpful staff (gave out good
local map to all hostelers), general cleanliness, and
"complimentary breakfast all day", which included tea, coffee,
fruit, bagels and cream cheese as a plus.
