  I loved the history and location! I had what they call an 'interior' room and it was wonderful! The view out the windows was mostly the brick wall next door, but on the 3rd floor, also a little of the mountains! Quiet, historic, accommodating! - Telluride was a last minute add to our trip.   The staff is so welcoming and accomodating - honestly - treated everyone the same. We felt like we belonged there - even though we just came down for the night from Denver (to get out of Denver!) on a deal. I was expecting to pay $50 or so for it, but it was on the house. Pleasantly suprised! Such nice people. - I have never been more pleasantly surprised by a hotel Experience in my life. We were treated like royalty from the minute we checked in. The staff could not have been more helpful and solicitous. The food was excellent the shopping fun and the added treat of the on site movie theatre just made for a truly remarkable stay. Thanks

  The view is fantastic! The restaurant serves wonderful food, again, with a spectacular view of the mountains. I took a swim in their heated outdoor pool, and while it was brisk, it still felt fantastic. Again, a great view of the mountains.   We loved the atmosphere of "welcome" at this hotel. From the minute we stepped into the lobby it felt like home! The staff was friendly, the rooms were very nice and the amenities were just what we were looking for. Happy hour with wine, and a breakfast that was more than the norm of yogurt and fruit.
