The neighborhood isn't nearly as bad as other reviews (& satellite photos on Google Maps) led us to be - Great hotel with internal parking (at any time, even in the night). Another plus is the breakfast, very good with many options from waffles and muffins to fruits and yogurt, juices, coffee, just great! The staff was very friendly and helpful, good customer service! The room was very clean, confortable, and with all amenities (good air conditioner, fridge, lcd tv, a safe, etc.); this was a king room.

  This very low profile hotel is the best kept secret in hollywood. At first sight it doesn't seem to be the best choice. Yet in my opinion it is. I've been around la for a while in the various neighborhoods and in many different hotels. And the "Super 8" without the slightest of doubt was the best offer quality-pricewise. I could see the "HOLLYWOOD... wat mensen zeggen » " sign right out my window as well as the huge houses perched in the hollywood hills.The bed was perfectly comfortable and had inmaculate linnens. In - In fact, this is a good price in relation to the quality. In the Neighbourhood, it might be the best (I've been in most budget hotels in Hollywood). Free Parking en centrally located. Wifi is strong en good enough to watch Netflix ;-) Breakfast is ok, enough choise and it's free!

  I loved this place. The girl was old and out-dated, but I didn't hold it against her. Because she was built to last. And the current owners keep her impeccably clean and well-maintained. The internal courtyard with pool, Jacuzzi and beautiful garden were just magical. It lent a real spa-like oasis-type feel to the place. The - Very, very service-minded staff during the 8 days I stayed here. Especially Ryan and Felix at the front-desk! It was nice to have a mini fridge in the room in which I stored groceries and drinks I'd bought at Ralphs located two minutes away (by foot). Only 2 dollars to use the washing machine.
