Staff were very friendly and helpful, and hotel was in a good location, out of the city centre but easily accessible to anywhere via taxi or the metro underground. I was expecting a nice, clean, modern budget freindly hotel. the rate was only 179 per night which is cheap by nyc standards no matter what part of the city you're in. It was all that I expected but when I arrived, for some reason they upgraded me.   We loved Maria, the manager at Isola! She was very friendly and helpful. Rachael and Joey, our concierges were awesome! We stopped by their desk daily! They made wonderful suggestions and followed up with reservation for us. They could not have been more helpful or friendly! This hotel rocked my world. The room was always clean and the food in the restaurant was delicious and creative. Loved the energy, location and vibe of this hotel.
