Love the location right near Safeco Field and the football stadium. Also easy walking distance to King St Station. Yes the hotel is in a business district but that works for us! We love Jimmy's restaurant as it has good food at reasonable prices. The staff there were lovely. Unfortunately the pool and spa were being retiled so we could not use them, but have on previous visits. Extremely nice staff, pleasant atmosphere. The rooms were decorated in a beautiful and cosy way. The historic feeling is great. Great location. Jan (the owner) was very friendly and had a lot of suggestions for sights and activities during my short stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the train station as well as downtown Seattle/Pioneer Square. It is also on/near public transit lines. The hotel has an extremely rich and important history that Jan is always willing to talk about. If I ever make it to Seattle again, I will definitely stay here!

I liked how conviniently located this hotel was to the WaMu theater. We went to an event there that weekend and only had to walk 10 minutes to get there! Not have to worry about a taxi or anything. I liked that there was a wide variety of restaurants around the area and that we were able to walk around a lot rather than drive.
