The hotel is modern and spacious with large, comfortable, clean rooms. The suites are great with children- the pull-out couch is excellent quality and is a king-size bed. The bathroom is modern and spacious. The rooms are very quiet- a very nice experience! The location, near Time Square and Madison Ave. shopping is great! The staff are helpful and complimentary water and fruit is available in the lobby. The rooms have complimentary water, sodas, and snacks. A classy operation!

This is a beautiful hotel. The room was extremely clean and up-to-date. Our beds were comfortable. It definitely fit our needs for NYC. It was very close to everything - walking distance to 5th Avenue, Broadway, Times Square - but we were not in the midst of the crowds, noise and chaos. I travelled with my friend. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and also problem solving oriented. We arrived at 5h30 am and were supposed to check in at 3PM. I was pleasantly surprised by how big the rooms are; at least, twice as big as any other hotel that I have stayed in for a price around $400. The rooms are extremely good in terms of maintenance and all the facilities that you would expect of Hyatt.

We received the apartment on the highest floor - 36 with an astonishing view. We could see all the buildings including the Chrysler building. more like living in NYC than visiting & living in a Hotel.. If you dont mind taking out the trash yourself and making your own bed, this is for you! Ask for an apartment as high up as possible. We got one on the 8th which was fine - but would have preferred 36th :-)
A lot of deli's, cafe's and grocery stores in the area for + a dunking' donut next door for a quick cup of joe or breakfast..
Can highly recommend the apartment - location in NYC is everything.. its a 2 min walk from the Empire
